157 AN IMPROVED TRAVEL PACKAGE RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM USING (COPE)

Abstract : This system aims to make personalized travel package recommendations for the tourists based on the interested POI, and to improve the detection accuracy and recommendation performance. This work intended to resolve the large TSP problem and NP hard problem. And finally helps to find accurate travel packages based on the POI. Improves the recommendation system by selecting optimal travel packages based on user customized POI.

164 “Ethno-Veterinary Plants of Villages around Nandurbar city”

Abstract : The paper deals with ethno-veterinary medicinal uses of 30 plants species belonging to 22 families were recorded from total of 5 traditional medical practitioners were interviewed, with their ages ranging between 50 to 70 years from various villages like Vehagi, Jugalkhet, Wadibar, Veli, and Bedakund surrounding the Satpuda forest of Akkalkuwa tahasil of Nabdurbar district of Maharashtra state. While collecting the data, special emphasis is given to the foot and Mouth disease, Hemorrhagic Septicemia, Maggotted Wounds, Retention of Placenta, Timpany and Worms, which are the most common animal ailment in the district.

165 LIMNOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF JANNAPURA TANK IN BHADRAVATHI TALUK OF KARNATAKA, INDIA

Abstract : A detailed study was carried out in Jannapura tank near Bhadravathi town of Shimoga district on physico-chemical parameters, fish diversity, aquatic macrophytes and Plankton composition during January to December 2008. The results of physico-chemical parameters were compared with Bureau of India Standards (BIS) and World Health Organization (WHO) standards. The study revealed that, tank water is under eutrophic category as it possesses high BOD, phosphate and nitrate. Among fish diversity a total of 24 species belonging to 19 genera in 10 families of five orders were recorded. Majority of the species (21) were native.
