53 Study Of Migratory Status Of Winter Visitor Water Fowls Of Wai Dam Of The Yavatmal District
By : Shital V. Kharwade
Abstract : Bird migration is important phenomenon between breeding and nesting to feeding and resting grounds. To avoid great winter of the west, water birds from different parts migrate to the Indian sub-continent and especially to the water bodies of central India. Varieties of colourful water birds are seen on different water reservoirs. Wai water reservoir were surveyed for last two years 2011-12 and 2012-13 and Migratory status of winter visitor water fowls were recorded by weekly visits and by doing mid-winter waterfowl census of this perennial dam of the central India.

54 Structural Properties Of Zinc And Aluminum Substituted Cupper Ferrite Prepared By Ceramic Method
By : N. G. Nisal , S. T. Alone , V. B. Kawade AndG. K Bichile
Abstract : The samples of Cu Zn Al Fe O ferrite system with (x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 0.6 0.4 x 2-x 4 and 1.0) were prepared by the usual doubled sintering conventional ceramic 0 technique. The powder samples were annealed at 900 C for 24 hours and the 0 samples were pressed into pellets of 10mm diameter are sintered at 1100 C for 36 hours. The samples were studied by means of X-ray diffraction. The X-ray analysis showed that all the samples had single-phase cubic spinel structure. 2+ 2+ 3+ The variation of lattice constant with Cu , Zn and Al concentration deviates from Vegard's law. The cation distribution estimated from X-ray intensity ratio 2+ 3+ 2+ calculations suggest that, Zn ions occupies tetrahedral (A) site and Al , Cu ions at octahedral [B] sites..
