60 Absorption and Emission Properties of Pr(III) doped Calcium Borax Glasses
By : Sujeet Jain and Chanchal Porwal
Abstract : Optical absorption and photoluminescence spectra of Pr(III) doped calcium borax glasses are presented. The observed spectra have been analyzed to calculate oscillator strengths (ƒ), the Judd-Ofelt intensity parameters (Ù ). The ë radiative parameters namely, transition probabilities (A, Aô), branching ratios 2 (â %), lifetimes (ô ìsec) and stimulated emission cross-sections (óP ëcm ) are R R also evaluated for the different glass compositions and shown to change with chemical compositions.

Abstract : Present research aim is to compare probe and participatory teaching method effect on fourth grade science study students critical thinking skills similar to semi – experimental method in introductive and final test plan by evidence group and using available case. This research statistical community is all fourth grade students in 11817numbers, that 90 students selected through case title available sampling method in three groups with 30 ones. Measuring tool is critical thinking skills test and to analyse data has used descriptive statistics ( frequency distribution, percent ,mean and variance ) and in deductive statistics has used one way variance analysis test ( an nova) and tukey actional test in comparing binary effect to study probe and participatory methods effect and obtained results have indicated that probe teaching method has had more effect than participatory teaching method on studying group s. In other words, students that trained by probe teaching method got higher grades than control group and participatory teaching group. Also probe teaching method has more effect on comparing and detection skill but participatory teaching method indicates more effect on students adjudication skill.
