108 Opportunity for Natural Selection among Bhuiyans: A Tribal Population of Keonjhar District, Odisha, India
By : Binoy Kumar Kuiti , Kaushik Bose
Abstract : Background:The problem of measuring the intensity of natural selection directly in human populations was solved by Crow with his ‘index of opportunity for natural selection’. This enabled change in fitness to be measured using specific birth and death rates. Thus ‘natural selection’ is the relative probability of survival and reproduction of the genotype. Only when a certain variability of this fitness is present in a population does natural selection occur.

109 A Heuristic Privacy Leakage Control Approach For Profitable Privacy Protection Of Processing Datasets In Cloud
By : A.Balachandra Rao , Sai Satyanarayana Reddy
Abstract : Cloud computing provides greater flexibility of storing and computation of data intensive applications within the cloud environment without maintaining of infrastructure. Such applications can be processed, a large volume of intermediate processing data sets are to be generated. Storing some valuable intermediate datasets has been considered in order to avoid the high cost of recomputing them. To preserving privacy to the multiple intermediate datasets is a challenging issue, because malicious parties may gain private sensitive information by analyzing the multiple processed intermediate datasets of the actual dataset. I argue that this is neither efficient nor cost-effective because it is not necessary to encrypt ALL of those processing datasets and also it is very time consuming and costly for data intensive applications to en/decrypt frequently while performing any operation on them. In this paper, I design an upper bound on privacy measure of stored datasets.
