Nemade | | Abstract : The present paper deals with six species of Hyphomyceteous fungi encountered on submerged woody debris in freshwater habitats. Among them Aquaphila albicans Goh, K.D. Hyde & W.H. Ho, Intercalarispora nigra J.L. Crane & Schokn. and Neta angliae K.D. Hyde & Goh are being recorded for the first time from India. Helicomyces roseus Link, Phaeoisaria clematidis (Fuckel) S. Hughes and Spadicoides cordanoides Goh & K.D. Hyde are encountered for the first time from freshwater habitats in Maharashtra state.
