Vijay | Abstract : In archaeology and art history, "terracotta" is often used to describe objects such as figurines and toy objects like carts, gamesmen’s, etc were not made on using a potter's wheel. It denotes an unglazed, usually brownish-red pottery or clay object. Generally, the ancient terracotta artifacts produced as ornaments, seals, toy objects, temple decorations, containers and vessels for everyday uses where exceedingly collected in the course of archaeological explorations and excavations.
