[Fabaceae] are having a wide range of herbal uses. Phytochemical studies
resulted the presence of secondary metabolites and qualitative analysis of
phenols showed the presence of caffeic acid, phloroglucinol, â-Resorcyclic
acid, neo-chlorogenic acid, homo protocatechuic acid, trans-p-coumaric acid,
cis-ferulic acid, trans-sinapic acid and cinnamic acid; flavonoids like myricetin, quercetin and apigenin proved their herbal usages against tuberculosis, skin diseases, antidote to snake venom, menstrual disorders, small pox, against kidney stones and urinary disorders. | | | Author Profile | Full-Text PDF |View Video | |
